About One Handed Shooting and Malfunction Class

This class assumes you already know the basics of defensive shooting, have a solid grip and recoil control. If you are don't or are unsure, please sign up for "Introduction To Handgun" first. You will be tested This class builds on the fundamentals established in the "Introduction to Combative Handgun" and the "Movement and Holster Class". While it's rare you get into a conflict anyway, one handed is even more rare. Still, you might be that one rarity. How can you know what your gun fight will be like? One handed shooting is a weakness for most everyone unless you know how to do it and practice it.In addition, consider the possible situations. You could be holding something valuable like a child or child's hand, groceries, fighting off an attacker in close contact, in a struggle with one attacker while another closes in, wounded loosing the use of one arm, the possibilities are endless.You work on the following:
  • Strong and weak hand shooting and control.
  • Movement while shooting one handed
  • Establishing your working space as you drive your gun to the target
  • Fast accurate shooting
  • Experiment with different ways to shoot one handed to discover your sweet spot
  • Fixing malfunctions one handed
  • Reloading one handed
This is a 4 hour class. You will need 200+ rounds of ammunition, solid (not soft sided) holster, magazine carrier, the ability to bring 30+ rounds to the line in your magazines (if you can't you'll loose out on some shooting while you reload).NOTE: If you are signing up for another class the same day together with this class, use Discount Code "Combo2020" for $15 range fee discount.
